Origins --- The guitar has a history that can be traced back to 5,ooo years ago, where instruments of similar looks and capabilities appeared in Ancient India and Central Asia.
Parts --- Headstock, nut, machine heads, frets, truss rod, inlays, neck, heel, neckjoint, body, pickups, electronics, bridge, pickguard, sound board, sound hole, strings, saddle and fret board.
Usage --- Can be used as a solo instrument or part of an ensemble e.g. rock bands, guitar ensembles, etc.
Reason for Selection: It is a versatile instrument and we can learn to play our favourite pop songs and song along.
